"I had very limited time to lock down a place before my relocation from Dallas to NYC. I scoured Craigslist in preparation, and that was a borderline waste of time; not a realistic representation of what is available. During my limited free time, I also walked areas I liked in the hopes to find an apartment; an impossible task when you commute to NYC. Therefore, the only efficient option available was to use a broker. I spoke with several brokers, but Mariam Hager of Anchor Associates Chelsea was the most interested and helpful. The second to last place we visited Saturday evening was exactly what I was looking for, and within my budget. After deciding on the unit, Mariam walked me through the entire leasing process, and also managed the property manager's expectations. From my perspective, it was a seamless process, and for that I am thankful. Lastly, the fact Mariam was personable (and beautiful) made the process that much more enjoyable. "

A few things that stood out were Mariam''s knowledge of the city (everything from transportation, entertainment, culture, dining) and her flexibility and time management skills which maximized our limited amount of time to find a place (as my roomie and I flew to NY for 3 days to look at places).
