Coming from Ottawa, ON the boyfriend and I had read a few articles about NYC real estate and apartments, but really had no idea what to expect. We had planned a few days in the city to look at listings we found ourselves and booked an afternoon to see apartments with Gilad Paz.

It was clear when we first met Gilad that he was very interested in our apartment needs and showed us a wide range of apartments that fit our requirements. At the end of a few hours we had seen a lot of places, but found two that we loved.

We got the application process rolling and although there were a few hiccups on the landlords end Gilad was there to help smooth things over. He did a lot of work on our behalf to make sure we got our perfect NYC apartment.

I was referred to Helene from a friend, and we couldn''t have had a smoother or more pleasant experience. As everyone knows, it can be both time consuming and stressful searching for an apartment to rent in NYC. From our first contact with Helene, she proved to be incredibly responsive and helpful. We communicated via email to narrow down our specifications and budget and Helene also sent over a checklist of all the documents we should bring to viewings so we could be sure to apply right away if we found an apartment we liked.

She accommodated our schedules and set up 5 appointments on a Saturday afternoon, ultimately finding an apartment that met all of our needs on that very same day. Helene was very respectful of our budget and was never pushy. Throughout the lease signing process and approval, Helene remained in steady contact and talked us through each step. We would refer Helene to anyone who is looking for a stress-free experience and a great broker/client relationship. Helene is the best!
