I had lived in New York City for a few years but had never been faced with the problem of finding an apartment from scratch. Luckily there was always a spare bedroom open with friends whenever I needed one so I really had no idea where to start. I had heard horror stories of slimy NYC brokers who charged outrageous fees while delivering a fourth of what the renter requested- I knew I was in over my head. Thankfully a friend referred me to Logan Dougher and I knew after our first phone conversation that he understood exactly what I was looking for. My boyfriend and I had some strict parameters during our search (read: budget) and Logan didn''t try to pressure us to up our limit. We spent a few afternoons with him looking at properties and ultimately found the perfect spot which Logan was able to negotiate down to a price we could afford. He was very professional and diligent and we will definitely do business with him again

Rick Naylor was our broker and he found us such an amazing and affordable apartment on the first try! He really listened to what we wanted and was so helpful throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend him to everyone and will definitely use him again next time we move. He was genuine in his efforts to find us a great place to live. He was extremely helpful whenever any questions arose, he was prompt and he was very fun to get to know. We are very grateful for his help and it was such a pleasure meeting him!

My review is related to my experience with Lydia, as referred to me by a friend You can read further details below but at the end of the day my friend and couldn''t be more pleased with the service provided by Lydia because she brought a level of insight, connections, and detail that we would never have been able to find on our own.

As I''m in the midst of my move still I''m going to bullet out the highlights:
- Lydia responded immediately after I reached out on a weekday night and got on a call with me
- Lydia set up a block of time for me to come into the city from Long Island and look at NINE different buildings and when we went over the three hour time block set up (because I had seen a few places online I was interested in) she didn''t bat an eye and made the calls and trucked on for an additional two hours
- Lydia was knowledgeable in every facet imaginable and acted as the buffer I wanted between me and the leasing personnel at the managed buildings. I swear she knew more about the buildings than half the leasing personnel.
- Lydia did not pressure me into taking an apartment that I wasn''t absolutely happy with and could see myself living in.
- Lydia was able to get me into apartments that weren''t yet officially on the market due to her connections (and actually it was one of those that I ended up renting)
- Lydia was easily accessible after that day to help ensure that the leasing process went smoothly
- Overall Lydia put me at ease throughout a process that I knew little about and seemed daunting and it never felt like I was dealing with some sort of car dealer. She expressed genuine interest in me and finding me the right place.
