We arrived in NY from the UK five years ago and were in the fortunate position to be in a corporate lease. As it was nearing its end we needed help to find something more affordable, but still meeting our needs. A very tall order for any Broker to rehouse a family from a corporate lease. Instead of simply showing me and my brother apartment after apartment, Emily took the time to explain the area and answer any questions that I had as a new renter in NYC. She made an effort to learn our specific situation and take it into account, and built that into a pleasant, low-pressure experience.
