Vladimir was excellent in getting us a great price on our apartment. He was very professional, and he helped us get two months free and free amenities. He also kept in constant contact with us during the process of getting approved and moving in. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an apartment in New York. NADINE MASKALLIS was my broker when moving from San Francisco to Manhattan this summer (2012). She was kind, attentive, and so committed to finding me a place to live! Nadine ran up and down the island in the dead of summer (leaving my mother and I to shop and eat while she snagged keys from all over the place) like it was nothing at all. Not only was she exceptionally willing to go the extra mile physically, but she was also an awesome advocate for me. She was very aware of what we wanted (at every apartment she would tell me how far I was from my graduate program''s campus, which subway lines would be best and where they were--which was awesome!) and never strayed from it. If she wanted to show us something a little above our price range, she asked our permission before taking us; which I really appreciated (I have heard horror stories about brokers considering their client''s initial budget something of a "bottom line" rather than top--and Nadine never made me feel pressured to spend more than I wanted to). She ended up finding me the most incredible little studio in Chelsea with a killer view, beautiful old-world charm and in-building laundry (everything I asked for and more!). The value of a broker, especially a good one like Nadine, is that they hit the pavement so that you don''t have to. Nadine knew what I wanted, worked really hard (all the while being calm and kind) and got me what I wanted. I would refer her again and again--she''s well worth the fee, and a ton of fun to work with! You rock, Nadine!
