I wanted to reach out to you to let you know what an incredible broker you have in Ivan. He took my boyfriend and I (and each of us individually) up and down every block of the Upper West Side...determined to find us the apartment of our dreams. His knowledge of the area is only surpassed by his incredibly kind demeanor and commitment to serve his client. He met us early on Saturday morning and late on weekday nights, always happy to accommodate our crazy schedules. And throughout the whole process, I felt as though I was walking around with a friend. He encouraged me to send him listings from the Anchor website that I liked, continually looking for ways to understand our taste and priorities in our apartment search. He invested much time and energy, both with us and behind the scenes, to help us find a great place. Unfortunately, we''re unable to move forward with an apartment at this time - I just started a new job and Adam currently works overnight hours, so our time is too limited to devote to finding that great place we want. We worked with Tom a few weeks ago looking for apartments on the Upper East Side. Having lived in New York on and off for over twenty years, I''ve worked with my share of brokers, and we found a winner in Tom. We essentially had one day to see apartments, and having given him a sense of what wanted, he put together a fantastic set of listings. Tom was above-board, transparent, and dogged on our behalf. What more could someone ask for? He really went above and beyond for us.
Monica was fantastic. I was moving from out of state, and after sending out several feelers, most brokers ignored me as I was not in the area. Monica helped vet the different listings that I found online, and compiled a very detailed list when I arrived to view apartments. The entire process was painless, and from what I have heard about NYC moves, this is saying something. I highly recommend Monica Jey as she was extremely professional and we were able to secure an apartment in one day.
