Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Travis knows what it’s like to step off the plane and dive right into a hectic apartment search in New York City. Always up for an adventure, at seventeen Travis moved to Paris, France for his undergraduate studies in politics. After graduation, he relocated to New York and worked in PR – first at Ogilvy PR Worldwide and later with a national gun violence prevention nonprofit. Answering his itch to travel, he then spent a year in Busan, South Korea, where he taught English to elementary and middle school students. Along the way, he picked up a basic understanding of the Korean language and a deep appreciation for kimchi.
